Breathing techniques for improved focus and relaxation

Learn simple breathing exercises to clear your mind and relax your body.

When it comes to fitness, we often focus on the physical aspects of exercise. But it's important to remember that mental wellbeing is just as important. That's where mindful breathing comes in. By taking the time to focus on your breath, you can quiet your mind and reduce stress. Here are three breathing exercises to help you get started:

Exercise 1: Outward Jump rope Jumping rope is a great way to get your heart rate up and improve your coordination. To get started, maintain a focus of around 3-6 feet in front of you to help keep your balance. Take a deep breath and begin with a step backwards. Breathe in to fill your lungs, then exhale to relax your shoulders and arms. Repeat for a few minutes to warm up before jumping rope.
